Boca Lago is comprised of subdivisions (Cypress, Fairways, Glades, Greens, Horizons, Pines, and Vistas) over 250 acres of lush landscaping and dazzling lakes in Boca Raton west of the Florida Turnpike on Lyons Road between Palmetto Park and Glades Road. Each subdivision offers something unique - including lovely golf course, lake or preserve views and home styles ranging from villas and condos to single-family homes. At Boca Lago, enjoy low maintenance living since the exterior home maintenance and lawn care are handled by the association. Boca Lago features both 55 and older (or active adult) subdivisions and others that cater to families of all ages. The houses, villas and condominiums range in size from 2 to 3 bedrooms. Constructed in 1978 by Frankel Homes, the 8 communities total over 1,700 residences. Of the eight subdivisions, Glades and Horizon are the only subdivisions that are pet friendly. Membership to the country club is not mandatory.
